With more than 40 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry, Peter Brant has been the driving force behind the growth of White Birch Paper Company and its affiliate companies since the 1970s. During this time, Mr. Brant transformed BATO Company, a company that his father Murray Brant co-founded in 1941, from a paper converter and broker into a leading newsprint manufacturer.

Christopher Brant
President & Chief Operating Officer

Christopher Brant has been with White Birch and its predecessor companies since 1998 and is the third generation of the Brant family to work for the company. After nine years spent moving through the ranks of White Birch and learning about the pulp and paper industry, Mr. Brant became president of the company in 2007.

Russell Lowder
Executive Vice President

Russell Lowder has been with White Birch since 2008. He is responsible for global sales of White Birch’s annual production of more than one million metric tons of newsprint, directory paper, bulky book grades, specialty board and high bright paper products.

Timothy Butler
Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Timothy Butler joined White Birch in 2010 and has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and finance roles. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche, spending nine years in the company’s Audit and Assurance services division, ultimately in a senior manager position.
